"Ed Emcees: A Story of Hip-Hop Brotherhood" was event sponsored by John Jay College’s Africana Studies Department, the Women’s Center for Gender Studies, and The Center for Student Involvement & Leadership. An interactive discussion with three Black male Hip-Hop educators, rappers and spoken word poets who will tell their stories about identity, masculinity, and love that span across the spectrum of sexuality, faith, and artistic expression.
